Part of Burgundy’s appeal is that its wines strongly reflect the conditions of the growing season and rarely taste the same from year to year. Each vintage produces wines that are unique to that year, for better or worse. That diversity contributes to my fascination with the wines and fuels my desire to travel to the region as often as possible. I have had the privilege to visit on several occasions and tasted the following vintages from barrel: 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010.
